Abstract:

risin is a bridge between physical activity and cognitive performance. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of swimming in cold water for six weeks on irisin Expression in brain tissue and cognitive function. 25 male Wistar rats were purchased from Pasteur Institute and transferred to the research center and randomly divided into three groups: swimming in water with normal temperature (28 degrees), swimming in cold water (15 degrees) and control group. Training rats swam 3 days a week for 6 weeks in the form of intervals. 48 hours after the last training session, rats were anesthetized and sacrificed through intraperitoneal injection of xylazine and ketamine and their brain tissue was taken. Then the ELISA method was used to measure the irisin gene. One-way ANOVA test was used to analyze the findings. The results showed that six weeks of swimming improved cognitive performance compared to the control group (p<0.01). Also, brain tissue irisin levels were significantly increased in two training groups compared to the control group (swimming group in water with normal temperature and swimming in cold water, respectively, p<0.05 and p<0.07). In addition, the irisin changes of the group swimming in cold water were significantly higher than the group swimming in normal temperature water (p<0.002). It seems that irisin can be a bridge between exercise activity and improving cognitive function. So that, exposure to cold can increase the effect of exercise activity on irisin and, as a result, cause further improvement in cognitive function.

Abstract:

Based on the seismic design, energy absorption by plastic deformation is necessary to prevent structures from collapsing during a severe earthquake. Therefore, estimating the behavior of structures to understand their response to earthquakes is particularly important. Seismic loads applied to structures are more significant than forces applied during design. This reduction in design applied loads is accomplished using a behavior factor. It is necessary to employ a behavior factor when evaluating the behavior of structures using linear analysis. The behavior coefficient depends on ductility coefficient, structural damping coefficient, soil characteristics, earthquake characteristics, over strength coefficient, and design reliability coefficient. While in seismic code, this coefficient is entirely dependent on the type of lateral strength system used. At the same time, the behavior coefficient depends on the structural geometric properties which are investigated in this paper. Since nonlinear analysis is required to determine the effect of earthquake forces during design and nonlinear dynamic analysis is time-consuming, designers typically use nonlinear static analysis. Nonlinear static analysis is one of the nonlinear analysis methods that use the lateral load to represent the earthquake load on the structure statically and increasingly. Estimating the behavior factor before starting the design process is a vital aid to designers. In this paper, we have examined the behavior factor of the reinforced concrete (RC) frame using gene Expression programming. Gene Expression programming is highly effective in this instance. Its effectiveness largely determines the success of the method. Gene Expression programming is a class of genetic algorithms that utilizes a population of individuals, selects them based on their fit, and introduces genetic changes via one or more genetic operators. Numerous inputs are required for this purpose, including the number of stories, the span length, the seismicity of the construction site, and the ratio of the compressive strength of concrete to the yield stress of longitudinal reinforcements. Afterward, 168 RC frames were designed via SAP2000 software, and the behavior factor value was obtained using nonlinear static analysis for each frame and subsequently transferred to the GeneXpro Tools software. The sixth and ninth national building regulations, Iran's seismic code, with the American Concrete Institute Code (ACI318-14), were used to analyze and design the structures examined. In the designed frames, the number of stories is 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 15, and the ratio of span length to story height is 1, 15, 2, and 2.5, respectively. The design base accelerations were 0.35, 0.3, and 0.25 in this study, and the longitudinal reinforcements' yield stress was initially set to 340 MPa and then increased to 400 MPa. The obtained results demonstrate that employing the gene Expression programming method makes it possible to estimate the reinforced concrete frame's behavior factor with an acceptable degree of accuracy before initiating the design process.  Finally, the results show that the variations of the span length and the number of the stories significantly affect behavior factor. Furthermore, as the number of stories increases, the behavior factor decreases initially and then increases. Moreover, the impact of parameters, such as design base acceleration and yield stress of longitudinal reinforcements, is negligible in calculating the behavior coefficient.

Resistin is an adipocyte-derived hormone, plays a key role in regulating energy homeostasis and metabolism. Only small amounts of resistin in humans is expressed in adipose tissue. Resistin gene Expression is bone marrow, spleen, lung and placenta in human. The aim of this study was the effects of Regular aerobic training on resistin gene Expression in active young Female. 20 females were randomly divided into control and experimental group. The experimental group was aerobic training for 8 weeks, 4 sessions in every week, consider to overloading, the first sessions of training have performed with the intensity at 70% of maximum heart rate and 80% maximum heart rate at the end of the week (from 40 minutes first sessions to 60 minutes at the last sessions). Resistin Expression was investigated after separating the lymphocytes by centrifuge and using semi-quantitative RT-PCR. The results show the effect of aerobic exercise and control groups are not the same, resistin gene Expression increased in the aerobic training group (P=0.001). Body mass index after 8 weeks of aerobic training had a significant decrease in experimental group (P=0.005). there were significant decrease at the fat percentage before and after the 8 weeks in experimental group(P=0.01). The Regular aerobic training in addition to reducing weight, BMI, and Fat percentage would also elevation of resistin gene Expression in active young female.

Background and Aim: The hormone receptor status in breast cancer has been pivotal in determining the likelihood of response to hormonal manipulation. Tumors which are both estrogen and progesterone receptor positive are much more likely to respond to anti-hormone therapy than negative tumors. There is well-established similarity between breast tissue and salivary glands. The aim of this study was to evaluate the progesterone receptor Expression in pleomorphic adenoma and adenoid cystic carcinoma of salivary glands. Materials and Methods: In this descriptive study, immunohistochemical staining with progesterone antibody was performed on 14 pleomorphic adenoma (PA) and 15 adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) paraffin blocks. The percentage of positive cells was determined using an eye piece graticule. Immunoreactivity was categorized as either positive (reactivity more than 5%) or negative (reactivity less than 5%). In addition the existence of progesterone receptor in tumor cells, stromal cells (fibroblasts), inflammatory cells and salivary glands around tumors was evaluated. Data were analyzed with T and Mann Whitney U tests with p<0.05 as the limit of significance. Results: Immunohistochemical staining for progesterone receptor was negative in 15 ACC and 13 PA. Only one case of PA showed immunoreactivity for progesterone receptor. Also, 12 normal salivary glands around tumor were positive. Inflammatory cells, endothelial cells and fibroblasts did not show immunoreactivity in most cases. Conclusion: The results indicate the lack of progesterone receptor Expression in ACC and PA of salivary glands.

Hypergroups that have at least one identity element and where each element has at least one inverse are called Regular hypergroup. In this regards, for a Regular hypergroup $H$, it is shown that there exists a correspondence between the set of all strongly Regular relations on $H$ and the set of all normal subhypergroups of $H$ containing $S_{\beta}$. More precisely, it has been proven that for every strongly Regular relation $\rho$ on $H$, there exists a unique normal subhypergroup of $H$ containing $S_{\beta}$, such that its quotient is a group, isomorphic to $H/\rho$. Furthermore, this correspondence is extended to a lattice isomorphism between them.

Statement of Problem: Differentiation of dentigerous cyst from unicystic ameloblastoma, discovering any initial ameloblastic changes in lining epithelium of dentigerous cyst at early stage, and differentiation between hyperplastic odontogenic epithelium in fibrous capsule of dentigerous cyst from ameloblastic proliferation, need to an accurate and reliable technique.Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine and compare Ki-67 immunoreactivity in various locations of the epithelium of Dentigerous cyst and Unicystic Ameloblastoma.Materials and Methods: In this historical Cohort study, 15 cases of dentigerous cyst and 9 cases of unicystic ameloblastoma were selected. Immunohistochemistry staining was performed by MIB-1 (murine monoclonal antibody against Ki-67). The stained nucleous were counted in basal and suprabasal layer of lining epithelium of both lesions in 1000 epithelial cells. Finally, the percentage of positive cells (presented as labeling index) was calculated. t- Student test was used to analyze the related data. Results: Ki-67 (LI) in basal layer of Dentigerous cyst (2.59 1.66) and Unicystic Ameloblastoma (3.76 79) had no significant differences, but Ki-67 (LI) in suprabasal layer of unicystic ameloblastoma (2.15 0.69) was significantly higher than dentigerous cyst (0.77 0.55) P=0.003).The difference between the average numbers of positive cells for Ki-67 (LI) in these two lesions was statistically significant (P<0.05) and it was higher in Unicystic Ameloblastoma than Dentigerous cyst. Conclusion: Based on the findings of this study, it is suggested that Ki-67 (LI) in suprabasal layer or throughout the epithelium can be considered as a useful marker for differential diagnosis between dentigerous cyst and unicystic ameloblastoma.

Abstract:

Objective(s): The protective effect of Regular running on sleep deprivation (SD)-induced cognitive impairment has been revealed. In this study, we focused on the effects of Regular exercise, sleep deprivation and both of them together on the microRNA-1b (miR-1b) Expression and their relation to the behavioral parameters and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) Expression. Materials and Methods: We used ovariectomized (OVX) female rats. The exercise program was mildmoderate treadmill training for 4 weeks. 72 hr SD was achieved using the multiple platform method and the spatial learning and memory parameters have been evaluated by the Morris water maze (MWM) test. The levels of studied genes were quantified by real-time PCR. Results: SD down-regulated pri-miR-1b, miR-1b (P˂ 0. 05), and BDNF mRNA (P˂ 0. 01) in the hippocampus. Furthermore, female rats under exercise conditions showed significant up-regulation of the miR-1b and BDNF mRNA (P˂ 0. 001). In addition, miR-1b positively correlated with cognitive function (P˂ 0. 05) and BDNF mRNA (P˂ 0. 01). Conclusion: Our data demonstrated that Regular treadmill exercise could reverse the down-regulation of hippocampal miR-1b, which has a probable role in the SD-induced cognitive impairment.
